Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive growth across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for social media, stays current with trends, and possesses excellent communication and analytical skills.

Job Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • • Identify target audiences and create engaging content tailored to each platform.
  • • Plan and schedule social media content calendars, including posts, campaigns, and promotions.
  • • Create compelling and visually appealing social media content, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
  • • Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • • Monitor and moderate user-generated content, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  • • Proactively engage with followers and audiences through comments, replies, and conversations.
  • • Foster and grow online communities by participating in relevant discussions and forums.
  • • Implement strategies to increase user engagement, shares, and interactions.
  • • Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve specific goals (e.g., lead generation, website traffic, conversions).
  • • Monitor and optimize campaign performance to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).
  • • Track and analyze key social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • • Generate regular reports to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • • Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  • • Research and identify opportunities for innovative social media strategies and initiatives.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
  • • Communicate campaign plans, updates, and results to stakeholders.

Experience and Requirements:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
  • • Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • • Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • • Strong organizational and time management skills.
